SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi rebels said they launched a drone attack on an arms depot at Najran airport in the Saudi Arabia's border city of Najran, the group TV al-Masirah reported on Tuesday morning.

"The attack was carried out by Kasif-K2 drone which caused a fire to break out in the facility," it said. (Yemen-Houthi-Saudi)

CAIRO -- The African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) is very important for Chinese companies in Africa, particularly in Egypt, an Egyptian economic expert said in an interview on Tuesday.

"Certainly, Chinese companies, especially those located in the Suez Canal's economic zone, will benefit from the AfCFTA that will be enforced in few days," Waleed Gab-Allah, professor of financial and economic jurisdictions at Cairo University, told Xinhua. (China-Egypt)

BAGHDAD -- On late Tuesday afternoon, hundreds of Iraqis formed a long queue at the Abu Hanifa mosque in northern Baghdad, waiting to receive Iftar meals offered by the Chinese embassy in Iraq.

BAGHDAD -- Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Tuesday said that Iraq will send delegations to the United States and Iran to ease the tension in the Middle East.
