RIYADH -- The Saudi air forces intercepted on Thursday a bomb-laden drone allegedly sent by the Houthi militia against Najran Regional Airport, Saudi Press Agency reported.

Targeting the airport used by thousands of civilians goes against international laws, said Turki al-Maliki, spokesman of the Saudi-led coalition involved in a war in Yemen. (Saudi-Drone Attack-Houthis)

TEHRAN -- Iran said on Thursday that it would not hold talks with a United States that does not change its behavior toward the Islamic state, Tasnim news agency reported.

The remarks were made by Keivan Khosravi, spokesman of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, who revealed that a number of visits by the officials of different countries "representing the United States" were recently made to Iran. (Iran-U.S.-Talks)

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi rebel al-Masirah TV channel on Thursday broadcasted footage showing the Houthi drone attack on Abu Dhabi International Airport in July 2018, which the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has denied and blamed on a vehicle accident.

The footage appeared to be shot by another drone run by the Houthi group, showing that another drone attacked a facility in the main airport of the UAE's capital Abu Dhabi. (Yemen-Houthi-UAE)

AMMAN -- King Abdullah II of Jordan, Iraqi President Barham Salih and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas held a trilateral meeting in Amman on Thursday.

Discussions addressed the Palestinian cause, the importance of supporting the Palestinians in securing their legitimate rights and establishing their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, according to a Royal Court statement a copy of which was obtained by Xinhua.
