BEIJING, June 3 (Xinhua) -- The following is a list of major shows, concerts, exhibitions and events in China on Tuesday, June 4:

-- Orchestra Concert "Andris Nelsons and Gewandhausorchester Leipzig"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: Concert Hall of Shanghai Oriental Arts Center

The Gewandhausorchester Leipzig orchestra has a history of over 275 years and its earliest roots can be traced back to 1479. It is the only orchestra that had performed the nine symphonies of Ludwig van Beethoven while the composer was alive.

Together with violinist Baiba Skride, conductor Andris Nelsons and the orchestra will bring the Shanghai audience an audio feast.

-- Jazz Concert "Trio da Paz"

Time: 7:15 p.m.

Location: Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai

Duduka Da Fonseca was a founding member and co-leader of Trio da Paz, nominated for an Indie Award as Best Latin Jazz Group in 1993 and their recording Partido Out won the Jazz Journalists Association Awards for best Brazilian Jazz Album of 2002. In 2016, Trio da Paz won the Hot House NYC Award for the best group and was nominated for the American Grammy in the Best Latin Jazz category with their most recent album "30".

The group featuring Duduka Da Fonseca on drums, Nilson Matta on bass and guitarist Romero Lubambo, will start their first week of performance in Shanghai on Tuesday.

-- Ballet Performance "Swan Lake"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: Hangzhou Theater

The Imperial Russian Ballet troupe is performing the classic "Swan Lake" for the Chinese audience on its nine-city tour in China. "Swan Lake" is a classic Russian tragic romance, replete with haunting music and exquisite dance, with an evocative score from well-known composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. It tells a fairy tale about a prince saving Princess Odette from an evil curse that turns her into a swan. Enditem
