SHANGHAI, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed higher Monday on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for July delivery was up 17.2 yuan (about 2.5 U.S. dollars) to close at 434.8 yuan a barrel.
On Monday the total trading volume for 8 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 103,692 lots, with a turnover of about 45 billion yuan.
China launched the crude oil futures trading, which is open to overseas investment, on March 26 last year. Enditem
