BEIJING, June 11 (Xinhua) -- The following is a list of major shows, concerts, exhibitions and events in China on Wednesday, June 12:

-- Silk Archery Robe With Cut Designs

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: National Center for the Performing Arts, Beijing

Silk Archery Robe with Cut Designs is one of the Chinese opera trilogy including The Net and The Leading Role. It is about a silk archery robe with cut designs, a treasure from the imperial palace.

Its presenter, the Beijing Fenglei Peking Opera Troupe, is a Chinese time-honored opera troupe, whose history and fame have a certain influence among old Peking Opera fans. The troupe was formerly known as "Folk Music Club" founded in Beijing Tianqiao Tian Paradise Theatre in 1937. It was renamed Beijing Fenglei Peking Opera Troupe in 1971.

-- A Life on the Silk Road

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: National Theatre of China, Beijing

As a joint project of Chinese and French artists, the theatre play tells the story of Zhang Qian, a celebrated Chinese Silk Road explorer, from the second century B.C.

Inspired by the story of Zhang being sent to the western regions, "A life on the Silk Road" lets the audience discover this well-known historical figure through a unique, sharp and exquisite way by combining multi-sensual and surreal multimedia images and musical styles.

-- Jazz Concert "Trio da Paz"

Time: 7:15 p.m./ 9:00 p.m.

Location: Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai

Duduka Da Fonseca was a founding member and co-leader of Trio da Paz, nominated for an Indie Award as Best Latin Jazz Group in 1993 and their recording Partido Out won the Jazz Journalists Association Awards for best Brazilian Jazz Album of 2002. In 2016, Trio da Paz won the Hot House NYC Award for the best group and was nominated for the American Grammy in the Best Latin Jazz category with their most recent album "30".

The group featuring Duduka Da Fonseca on drums, Nilson Matta on bass and guitarist Romero Lubambo, will start their performance in Shanghai Tuesday. Enditem
