The original Broadway musical classic "The Wizard of Oz" will be staged at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

An enchanting adaptation of the celebrated 1939 MGM film, the musical centers upon the adventure of Dorothy Gale, a girl from Kansas swept away in a tornado to the magical land of Oz, where she teams up with a tin man, a cowardly lion and a scarecrow on a curious journey home.

-- Play "The Antiques"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: The Capital Theater, Beijing

"The Antiques," an original play produced by the Beijing People's Art Theatre, will be staged at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Capital Theater in Beijing.

As a major production of the Beijing People's Art Theatre, the play focuses on the ups and downs of two rival antique stores in Beijing and their owners over 30 years. With a timeline starting from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the play showcases the fates of common people in a time of turmoil.

-- Elisabeth Nielsen Piano Concert

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: Hangzhou Theater

Danish pianist Elisabeth Nielsen will be performing at the Hangzhou Theater at 7:30 on Tuesday, during which the audience can enjoy celebrated works of Frederic Chopin, Claude Debussy and Franz Liszt.

Nielsen graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Music and has won multiple international competitions. Her remarkable talents also made her a member of the jury at the Nuova Coppa Pianisti international piano competition at the age of 19. Enditem
