SHANGHAI, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Two-time champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors will take an advantage into the second leg of their 2019 AFC Champions League (ACL) Round of 16 game with Shanghai SIPG FC next week after netting an away goal in their 1-1 draw in Shanghai on Wednesday.

Jeonbuk took the lead in the first minute with Moon Seon-min's goal. Wang Shenchao levelled the score six minutes before half-time with a header.

The final score means a goalless draw next week at Jeonbuk's home court will be enough for Jeonbuk to make the last eight of the competition for the ninth time in their history.

"It was a pity that we had a draw at home with Jeonbuk. We need to get fully prepared for the second leg," said Wang Shenchao while talking about the second leg on June 26 in South Korea. Enditem
