SHANGHAI, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed higher Tuesday on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for August delivery climbed 3.3 yuan (about 48 U.S. cents) to close at 441.3 yuan a barrel.
On Tuesday the total trading volume for six listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 319,390 lots, with a turnover of about 141.9 billion yuan.
China launched the crude oil futures trading, which is open to overseas investment, on March 26 last year. Enditem
