DALIAN, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Iron ore futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active iron ore contract for September delivery dipped 1 yuan (about 15 U.S. cents) to open at 872 yuan per tonne.
