Wildlife photo exhibition to open in SW China

CHENGDU, July 13 (Xinhua) -- The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition will open in the city of Chengdu in southwest China's Sichuan Province on July 15.

A total of 87 prize-winning photographs selected from the Wildlife Photographer Competition will be displayed.

Each year, the Wildlife Photographer Competition receives more than 40,000 photos. The competition is jointly held by the Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine.

Chengdu Museum and Sichuan Cultural Communication Company will co-host the exhibition, which will be open to the public for free until Sept. 1. Enditem
