SHANGHAI, July 14 (Xinhua) -- The following are art festivals, shows and exhibitions available in Shanghai in the coming week:

French musical "Notre Dame de Paris"

Date: July 18-Aug. 11

Venue: Shanghai Culture Square

Introduction:

The musical based on Victor Hugo's novel tells a love tragedy between the hunchback bell ringer Quasimodo and a young, beautiful gypsy girl Esmeralda. Since its debut in France in 1998, the musical has enjoyed worldwide success.

The King's Singers Shanghai Concert 2019

Date: July 18

Venue: Shanghai Oriental Art Center

Introduction:

Named after their prestigious school Kings College in Cambridge, the King's Singers are a British a cappella vocal ensemble originally founded in 1968. They have won numerous awards. This July they will perform at the Shanghai Oriental Art Centre, singing Simon and Garfunkel's "April come she will" and many other beautiful songs.

Exhibition: Nine Journeys Through Time

Date: July 3-Oct. 7 (closed on Mondays)

Venue: Yuz Museum
