TEHRAN -- Iran's ambassador to Britain urged London to release the Iranian oil tanker that it seized last week or waits for a response from Tehran, Tasnim news agency reported on Sunday.

RAMALLAH -- Secretary General of Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Saeb Erekat on Sunday accused the United States of destroying any hope for peace in the Middle East, according to his official twitter account and media sources.

ISTANBUL -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday by purchasing the Russian-made S-400 air defense system Turkey is trying to guarantee peace and its national security, local media reported.

DAMASCUS -- At least six civilians were killed and eight others wounded on Sunday by rebels' mortar fire that targeted Aleppo city in northern Syria, state news agency SANA reported.
