SHANGHAI, July 21 (Xinhua) -- The following are art festivals, shows and exhibitions available in Shanghai in the coming week:

Attraction - Let Love Win (Dance)

Date: Daily until July 21, 2019

Venue: Shanghai International Dance Center

Introduction:

Hungarian shadow theatre group Attraction rose to fame during a performance at the London 2012 Olympics, in which they depicted many traditional sports within the five Olympic rings. They also won the U.K. talent show Britain's Got Talent in 2013. This summer, Shanghai's International Dance Centre will see them perform their production of a new piece "Let Love Win."

Anje Weithaas Violin Recital (Concert)

Date: On Monday, July 22, 2019

Venue: Shanghai Grand Theatre

Introduction:

German violinist Antje Weithaas started learning to play at four years old. Her musical career has seen her win many prestigious awards. On July 22, Shanghai Grand Theatre's Buick Theatre will see Weithaas perform renditions of Bach and Ysaye as part of their One-Man-Show Classical Recital Series.

June Ishigami: Freeing Architecture (Exhibition)

Date: Until Oct. 7th, 2019

Venue: Power Station of Art (PSA)

Introduction:

Paris' Foundation Cartier presents "freeing architecture" in Shanghai with PSA. The exhibition is dedicated to the work of Japanese architect Junya Ishigami. Born in 1974 in Japan, Ishigami belongs to a generation of Japanese architects that emerged in the 2000s. The architect hopes to expand the perspective on architecture as flexibly, broadly, and subtly as possible, beyond the stereotypes of what architecture is considered to be.
