SHANGHAI, July 28 (Xinhua) -- The following are art festivals, shows and exhibitions available in Shanghai in the coming week:

White Gold: East and West Porcelain Capital (Jingdezhen-Meissen Porcelain Exhibition)

Date: July 25-Nov. 3

Venue: Shanghai History Museum

Introduction:

More than 100 pieces of exquisite antique porcelain from China, Germany and Japan are exhibited at the Shanghai Museum of History from July 25 to Nov. 3. The 75 sets and 136 pieces of fine porcelain on display are from six prestigious museums abroad. Together these cultural relics tell a splendid story of how fine china has come under the world spotlight for over 300 years.

Mark Bradford: Los Angeles (Exhibition)

Date: Daily except Mondays until Oct. 13

Venue: Long Museum (West Bund)

Introduction:

The display on modern American culture presents the works of U.S. artist Mark Bradford on the first floor of the Long Museum.

Näss - Massala Dance Company

Date: Aug. 2 and Aug. 3

Venue: Shanghai International Dance Center

Introduction:

Näss means people in Arabic. Led by its Moroccan-born founder Fouad Boussouf, the French Massala Dance Company will provide Shanghai with a 60-minute ensemble piece that explores and interprets the cross-cultural influences on North African dance and contemporary hip-hop. Their performances have won critical acclaim worldwide.
