SHANGHAI, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- The following are art festivals, shows and exhibitions available in Shanghai in the coming week:

The International DOTA2 Championships Final

Date: Aug. 20-25

Venue: Mercedes-Benz Arena

Introduction:

The world's top E-sports championship comes to China for the first time. In this week, 18 teams from all over the world will compete for the Champion's Shield and bonus which amounts to 00 million yuan (about 14.29 million U.S. dollars). China is sending four teams into the final E-sports contest.

Building The Motherland: Group Exhibition

Date: From Aug. 9 to Oct. 13

Venue: Long Museum (Pudong)

Introduction:

Long Museum Pudong has brought together a group of paintings which depict important construction projects mainly undertaken after 1949, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China. The exhibition gives people an insight into how China has turned into a powerhouse nation.

Infinity: Ni Youyu Solo Exhibition

Date: Until Oct. 20, 2019

Venue: Yuz Museum

Introduction:

As an artist who's a curator of materials, Ni gathers materials that have been saturated with symbiotic charms, such as antiques garnered from flea markets, and reduces them to something more fundamental. The exhibition leads the audience through guiding perception.
