DAMASCUS -- A car bomb exploded in Syria's northeastern city of Qamishli on Sunday, state TV reported.

The car exploded near a high school in the Arbawiyeh neighborhood in the city amid reports of damage, said the report, spelling no further details. (Syria-Bomb)

KUWAIT CITY -- Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met on Sunday with visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on regional developments, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said.

JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu departed on Sunday for a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev.
