SHANGHAI, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- The following are art festivals, shows and exhibitions available in Shanghai in the coming week:

abC Art Book Fair

Date: Aug. 30 to Sept. 1

Venue: Modern Art Museum Shanghai

The fourth edition of abC's Shanghai Art Book Fair returns. The fair will host a number of talks and lectures by a variety of publishers and speakers. A number of publications will also see the light of day for the first time during the fair.

Andre and Dorine

Date: Sept. 4 to 10

Venue: Shanghai Grand Theatre

Without words, the mime "Andre and Dorine" has toured extensively to over 30 countries worldwide. The play is performed by the young but experienced Basque duo Kulunka Teatro, combining classic mime theater with masks and accompanied by a cello. It discusses the universal subject of love and age, and touches audiences deeply with poetic visuals.

L'Amour Immortel

Date: Sept. 6 to 7

Venue: Shanghai International Dance Center

Deep in the woods, a romance unfolds between a ghost and a man. Taking inspiration from "Strange Tales From a Chinese Studio," a collection of classical Chinese stories by 17th-century writer Pu Songling, "L'Amour Immortel" recreates the story of the relationship between Ning Caichen and Nie Xiaoqian as a dance drama.
