BEIJING, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- The following are a selection of shows available in Beijing for the coming week:

Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery

Date: Sept. 4-7

Time: 7:30 p.m

Venue: National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA)

Introduction:

Arthur Conan Doyle's classic "The Hound of the Baskervilles" will be cleverly presented on stage, with only five performers playing 42 roles. It will bring the Beijing audiences a classic British comedy replete with witty dialogues.

Multimedia Concert: The Anatomy of the Piano

Date: Sept. 5, 7, 8

Venue: Multi-Functional Theatre, NCPA

Introduction:

"The Anatomy of the Piano" premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2013 and was well received by the audiences. The multimedia concert will feature piano performances, songs, storytelling and projections.

Joshua Bell's Violin Recital

Date: Sept. 5

Time: 7:30 p.m

Venue: Concert Hall, NCPA

As one of the most celebrated violinists in the world, Joshua Bell has enjoyed a long, successful career as a soloist, chamber musician, conductor and music director.
