BEIRUT -- Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Wednesday denied allegations about Hezbollah being in control of the government.

"Hezbollah does not manage the government. It is only a political party that has a stake in the parliament. I am the one who manages the government," Hariri told CNBC TV Channel in an interview. (Lebanon-Israel-Hezbollah)

TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Wednesday that recent U.S. sanctions against the Iranian Space Agency are ineffective, Tasnim news agency reported.

TEHRAN -- Iran has released seven crew members of the British-flagged oil tanker Stena Impero that was detained by the Iranian forces in the Strait of Hormuz last month, Press TV reported on Wednesday.

ADEN -- The Saudi-backed Yemeni government began indirect reconciliation talks with representatives of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Saudi Arabia's city of Jeddah on Wednesday, a government official told Xinhua.
