SHANGHAI, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- The following are art festivals, shows and exhibitions available in Shanghai in the coming week:

Eugene Onegin | Tchaikovsky Opera

Date: from Sept. 11 to 14

Venue: Shanghai Grand Theatre

Introduction:

Since the premiere of Tchaikovsky in Moscow in 1879, the opera "Evgeny Onegin" has been staged thousands of times around the world. This time the two hour and 50-minute opera will be sung in Russian, with Chinese and English subtitles.

L'invisible Vu - Group Exhibition

Date: From Sept. 7 to Oct. 20

Venue: Minsheng Art Museum

Introduction:

Joined by artists like Hans Hartung, Jean Dubuffet and Josef Sima, among others, this excellent group exhibition brings together works from a range of artists who work within the realms of abstraction. Artists delve into appearances and how we tend to interpret personality, beauty and more.

2019 Shanghai Art Fair

Date: Sept. 12-15

Venue: ShanghaiMart and the Shanghai Exhibition Center of International Sourcing

Introduction:

With a history of 23 years, the Shanghai Art Fair is an old brand but price-friendly to art collectors. Over 110 art galleries will be gathering in Shanghai, and more than 50 overseas institutions from 15 countries and regions will attend the art fair. Enditem
