Dance Drama:Confucius by China National Opera & Dance Drama Theatre

Date: Sept. 9 to 11

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Venue: Opera Hall, Guangzhou Opera House

Introduction:

Performed for the first time in 2013, "Confucius" received a slew of prestigious awards. "Confucius" has toured across the country and has been shown on stages worldwide in countries such as America and Japan, being called "Chinese cultural card." This dance drama depicts Confucius' tour around China, a journey full of frustrations, a journey without the accomplishment of his dreams and a journey where devotion is never repaid.

The Pure Romance d'Amour:Goran Sollscher Guitar Concert

Date: Sept. 12

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Venue: Experimental Theatre, Guangzhou Opera House

Introduction:

After his musical education at the Royal Conservatory of Copenhagen, Goran Sollscher embarked on an international career by winning the first prize at the "Concours Internationale de Guitare" in Paris in 1978. During the past few years, Goran Sollscher has been a frequent guest at the Verbier Festival and at other important international festivals in Europe.

St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra Concert

Date: Sept. 13

Time: 8 p.m.

Venue: Xinghai Concert Hall

Introduction:
