BEIJING, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- The following is a list of major shows, concerts, exhibitions and events in China for Saturday, Sept. 21:

-- Ballet "Swan Lake"

Location: Shenzhen Children Palace, Theater, Guangdong

Time: 8:00 p.m.

Performed by the Russian State Ballet, "Swan Lake" is a classic Russian romance based on a prince's love for a graceful creature, replete with haunting music and exquisite dance, with an evocative score from well-known composer Tchaikovsky.

The ballet has captured the imagination of many generations, and its fairy-tale mystery and romance continue to fascinate audiences worldwide.

-- Mersey Belles Ukulele Concert

Location: Shanghai Oriental Art Center

Time: 7:30 p.m.

British Ukulele performing group Mersey Belles will showcase the cover versions of classical music works between the 1920s and 1950s including "Tonight you belong to me" and "Eight days a week."

The Mersey Belles consists of four Ukulele musicians, Danielle Perkins, Rosie Wright, Liam CapperStarr and Gerard Lloyd. They have has toured Finland, Austria, Scotland and Ireland.

-- Veronica Swift Quartet Jazz Concert

Location: Jazz at Lincoln Center, Shanghai

Time: 7:00 p.m and 9:00 p.m.

The group features jazz musician Veronica Swift as the leading vocalist and consists of drummer Bryan Carter, bassist Daryl Johns and pianist Joel Wenhardt.

Born in Charlottesville in the United States, Veronica Swift recorded her debut album "Veronica's House of Jazz" at the age of nine, and earned her bachelor's degree in jazz voice in 2016 from the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. Enditem
