SHANGHAI, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed higher Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for November delivery was up 2.4 yuan (about 34 U.S. cents) to close at 466.5 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 5 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 248,078 lots, with a turnover of about 115.66 billion yuan.
