Cats the Musical

Date: Oct. 11 - 20 (except for Monday)

Time: 2:30 p.m. (on Saturday & Sunday) & 8 p.m.

Venue: Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center

Introduction:

"Cats the Musical" is composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on Old Possum's Book of "Practical Cats" by T. S. Eliot, and produced by Cameron Mackintosh. As one of the most famous musical in the world, it has been performed around the world many times and has been translated into more than 20 languages.

The Legendary Swordsman

Date: Oct. 11 - 12

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Venue: Opera Hall, Guangzhou Opera House

Introduction:

Based on Louis Cha's novel "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer", "The Legendary Swordsman" creatively deduce it in the form of acrobatics. Performed by more than 80 local actors, the classical plots and scenes in the novel are well presented in the play.

Concert by The Kugoni Trio

Date: Oct. 13

Time: 3 p.m.

Venue: Experimental Theatre, Guangzhou Opera House

Introduction:

The Kugoni Trio is a young and unique ensemble, born at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in 2010. Kurt Bertels (saxophone), Bert Koch (piano) and Nicolas Dupont (violin) met in their common enthusiasm for energetic chamber music and fresh contemporary repertoire.
