ZHENGZHOU, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- More than 40,000 food delivery staff in China's populous central province of Henan have participated in a month-long anti-spoofing campaign, the provincial public security department said Tuesday.

They are expected to help the police deliver 10 million anti-fraud brochures to thousands of households this month.

Public participation can support the police in cracking down on and preventing telecom and internet fraud, the department said.

Telecom and internet fraud crimes in Henan saw a double-digit drop in the Jan.-Aug. period as local police have taken firm anti-fraud measures since the beginning of the year and busted 471 criminal gangs in seven operations. Enditem
