SHANGHAI, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed higher Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for November delivery was up 12.1 yuan (about 1.71 U.S. dollars) to close at 449.3 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 8 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 305,972 lots, with a turnover of about 135.95 billion yuan.
