A Leaf in the Storm by Beijing Dance Theater

Introduction:
"A Leaf in the Storm" is inspired by Lin Yutang's novel of the same title. Choreographer Wang Yuanyuan takes as her point of departure the fate of ordinary people, and explores the vicissitudes of the times, and the spirit thereof in a vivid cross-section of the period in question. It's a boundless work that integrates literature, dance, art and other art categories.
Canon In D Concert

Introduction:
"Canon In D", whose full name is "Canon and Gigue in D major for 3 violins and Basso Continuo", is the classic work of German Baroque Composer John Pahbel. In addition to presenting the solo and orchestral versions of "Canon in D", the concert will also perform romantic classic repertoires, such as "Ballade Pour Adeline," "Turkey March" and "Greensleeves," which have been rearranged.
Grand Dance Poem: "Dunhuang Reflections" by Hong Kong Dance Federation

Introduction:
First performed in Hong Kong in 2015, "Dunhuang Reflections" employs contemporary perspectives to portray the elegance and aesthetics of Dunhuang such as rebound pipa, flying sky in dance, exemplifying the compassion for humanity and philosophical explorations of the mysteries of the universe.
