Collection of 70 Chinese novels published, showing China's changes over 70 years

BEIJING, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- A collection of 70 Chinese full-length novels reflecting China's changes and its people's lives over the past 70 years has been published.

The collection, in celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China, covers different periods of Chinese history, including ancient China, the War of Liberation and the reform and opening up.

Some of the most famous and popular works in China are included in the collection, such as Liu Cixin's sci-fi trilogy "The Three-Body Problem," a Hugo Award winner, and Nobel laureate Mo Yan's "Red Sorghum," which was also made into a film by the same name that won the Golden Bear.

The collection was jointly designed by 10 publishers including the People's Literature Publishing House. Enditem
