SHANGHAI, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed higher Tuesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for December delivery was up 0.95 yuan (about 13 U.S. cents) to close at 341.65 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 320,424 lots, with a turnover of about 109.66 billion yuan.
