ANKARA -- Turkey and Russia will discuss the pullout of the Syrian Kurdish fighters from the northern Syrian towns of Manbij and Ain al-Arab during talks between Russian and Turkish leaders in the Russian city of Sochi on Tuesday, the broadcaster Kanal 7 reported Sunday.

"We will discuss the removal of the YPG (People's Protection Units) terrorists from our borders, namely Manbij and Kobane, with the Russians," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told Kanal 7, using Ain al-Arab's another name. (Turkey-Syria-Kurdish Forces)

DAMASCUS -- The Turkish forces and allied Syrian rebels captured the city of Ras al-Ayn in the countryside of Hasakah Province in northeastern Syria on Sunday.

The city is the latest Kurdish-held area that has been captured by the Turkish forces since the beginning of the Turkish assault in northern Syria 11 days ago, state news agency SANA said. (Syria-Turkey-Kurdish City)

CAIRO -- Egypt inaugurated on Sunday the Middle East's largest metro station in the capital Cairo as part of the country's plans to renovate the city's fastest means of transportation.

Egyptian Transportation Minister Kamel al-Wazir attended the official launch of operations of Heliopolis Station, a facility constructed on 10,000 square metres, according to a statement by the transportation ministry. (Egypt-Subway Station)

BEIRUT -- Nationwide demonstrations continued for the fourth day in Lebanon amid demands by protesters to change the government, the National News Agency reported on Sunday.
