SHANGHAI, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed higher Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for December delivery was up 1.2 yuan (about 17 U.S. cents) to close at 446.1 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for 10 listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 173,234 lots, with a turnover of about 77.24 billion yuan.
