BEIJING, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- The following are a selection of shows available in Beijing in the coming week:

Walter Bosshard / Robert Capa -- The Race for China

Time: 9 a.m.-5 p.m., 29 Oct. 2019-3 May 2020

Place: 2nd floor exhibition hall, Tsinghua University Art Museum

Introduction: The exhibition presents works of two outstanding photojournalists who reported about China at war from different angles in the 1930s. The Swiss correspondent Walter Bosshard had lived and worked in China since 1931. Robert Capa, the most famous war photographer of his time, came to China in 1938. Their photos give the audience a multi-layered narrative about the history of China through Western eyes.

Yanni 2019 China tour Beijing Concert

Date: 7:30 p.m., Nov. 9-Nov. 10

Place: The Great Hall of the People

Introduction: Yiannis Chryssomallis, known as Yanni, is a Greek composer, keyboardist, pianist, and music producer who has resided in the United States during his adult life. In the upcoming show, the audience will feel Yanni's enthusiasm for life and music through his instrumental performance.

Trance: Tianzhuo Chen Solo Exhibition

Date: Oct. 31, 2019-Feb. 23, 2020

Time: 11 a.m.-7 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday; 11 a.m.-8 p.m. from Friday to Sunday

Place: M WOODS 798 Art Zone

Introduction: Born in 1985, Tianzhuo Chen is one of the most outstanding young artists in China. The exhibition presents new work in conjunction with some of Chen's most representative pieces and provides a comprehensive overview of the artist's multidisciplinary practice. Enditem
