French family film "Remi, Nobody's Boy" to hit Chinese theaters

BEIJING, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- "Remi, Nobody's Boy," a film adaption of Hector Malot's classic 1878 novel "Sans Famille," is set for theatrical release on the Chinese mainland on Nov. 22, according to an official poster released for the movie.

Titled "Remi sans famille" in French, the 2018 film tells of the adventures of young orphan Remi and a traveling showman as they journey through 19th century France.

Directed by Antoine Blossier and starring Maleaume Paquin and Daniel Auteuil, the film started its worldwide release in December 2018.

A Chinese-subtitled trailer has been released for the film, which was screened at the Shanghai International Film Festival in June 2019. Enditem
