SHANGHAI, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures closed lower Thursday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for December delivery was down 5.8 yuan (about 83 U.S. cents) to close at 453.8 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for eight listed crude oil futures contracts on the exchange was 207,428 lots, with a turnover of about 94.9 billion yuan.
