BEIJING, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese-subtitled trailer has been released for the upcoming Pixar film "Soul" by the official Weibo account of production company Pixar Animation Studios.

The computer-animated fantasy comedy film follows Joe Gardner, a middle school band teacher whose true passion is jazz.

In the film, just when Joe thinks his dream might be in reach, a single unexpected step sends him to a fantastical place where souls come to reset before returning to a new human body.

While there, Joe meets a soul named 22, and together they help other souls trapped there in order to get Joe back to Earth before it is too late.

Directed by Pete Docter and starring the voices of Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey, the film is set to be theatrically released in the United States on June 19, 2020. Enditem
