RABAT -- Morocco's police at the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca arrested on Friday two Tunisian women over alleged involvement in cannabis smuggling.

The two suspects, aged 24 and 27, were arrested with 11.46 kg of cannabis hidden under their clothing, said Moroccan police in a statement. (Morocco-Smuggling)

TEHRAN -- The air defense forces of Iran's army targeted an "unknown" drone near the port city of Mahshahr on Friday.

TUNIS -- Tunisia's election regulator announced at a press conference on Friday the final results of the Oct. 6 parliamentary elections.

ISTANBUL -- The Turkish coast guard has captured a total of 273 illegal migrants who tried to sneak into Greek islands from Turkey's Aegean coast in the last three days, the force announced on Friday.

On Thursday and early Friday, the coast guard teams stopped 53 irregular migrants, including 30 Palestinians, 11 Afghans, six Syrians, five Yemenis and one Iraqi, in operations carried out near the districts of Bodrum and Datca in the southwestern province of Mugla.
