BEIJING, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- The following are the highlights of China's key culture news from the past week:
-- Exhibition highlighting art-science integration opens in Beijing
An exhibition focusing on the integration of art and science in the age of artificial intelligence (AI) has kicked off at the National Museum of China in Beijing.
Over 120 imaginative works from art colleges and research institutions at home and abroad are on display.
-- Prestigious Chinese symphony orchestra to present Western classics choral concert
The China National Symphony Orchestra will present a Western classics choral concert on Nov. 14 at the Beijing Concert Hall as part of the orchestra's 2019-2020 concert season events.
Titled "Classics Appreciation," the concert will feature the performance of more than a dozen pieces of classical music, including "The Snow" of Edward Elgar and Russian folk song "Quiet Field," by the China National Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
-- China further regulates performing arts industry
The China Association of Performing Arts on Friday established a committee to further regulate operation of the performing arts industry.
The move, under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, aims at deepening the integration of performing arts and new technologies, as well as promoting innovation and orderly development of the industry. Enditem
