-- Dance "Far Away - Here"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Beijing

The dance tells a journey of self-growth and rediscovering the meaning of hometown in chasing dreams.

Co-performed by the Xinjiang Arts University and School of Dance, Shanghai Theatre Academy, the show also stars Tong Liya, a well-known Chinese actress.

-- Drama "Everlasting Regret"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: NCPA, Beijing

Based on Wang Anyi's 1995 novel "The Song of Everlasting Sorrow," the drama features a mournful love story about a woman during her turbulent life from the 1940s to the mid-1980s.

The play, produced by Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center, traces the ups and downs of Wang Qiyao, a former Shanghai teenage beauty pageant winner, against social and political changes for 40 years.

-- Exhibition "Leonardo and His Outstanding Circle"

Time: 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Location: Art Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing

Leonardo da Vinci died at the age of 67 in 1519. The 500th anniversary of his death is being observed around the globe with various events.

Displaying not only his valuable original artworks but also the works by his students and followers, the Beijing exhibition is expected to enable visitors to have a deeper understanding of his art and influence on later generations. Enditem
