SHANGHAI, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- The following are art festivals, shows and exhibitions available in Shanghai in the coming week:

The Shape of Time: Highlights of the Centre Pompidou Collection, Vol. 1

Date: from Nov. 8, 2019 to May 9,2021

Venue: Gallery 2 & 3, West Bund Museum

Introduction:

The Shape of Time will take visitors on a journey through the history of modern art, introducing the works of masters like Marcel Duchamp, Pablo Picasso and Vasily Kandinsky. Centre Pompidou is collaborating with the West Bund Group in the next five years to promote significant artistic exchanges between France and China.

Convex/Concave: Belgian Contemporary Art

Date: Daily except Mon until Jan. 12, 2020

Venue: Tank Shanghai

Introduction:

TANK shows Belgian art with the artworks of 15 artists that represent the contemporary scene in the country. Besides the exhibition, there's an enormous floor drawing of the outline of a tree shade made by artist Sophie Whettnall outdoor.

Paris Opera Academy Gala Concert - 350th Anniversary

Date: Nov. 11

Time: 7:15 p.m.

Venue: Shanghai Grand Theatre

Introduction:

This year marks the 350th anniversary of the Paris Opera, originally named "Academie royale de Musique" (Royal Academy of Music). A group of international artists will perform renditions of Mozart, Gluck and more at the Shanghai Grand Theatre. Enditem
