TEHRAN -- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Monday that Iran intends to stay in the 2015 nuclear deal which serves its interests, state TV reported.

"By remaining in the nuclear deal, we will achieve a big political, security goal," Rouhani said, adding according to both the deal and the UN Security Council Resolution 2231, the UN arms embargo on Iran will end next year. (Iran-Nuke Deal-Arms)

DAMASCUS -- At least six people were killed and 22 others wounded on Monday when three car bombs went off in Syria's northeastern Qamishli city, state news agency SANA and a war monitor reported.

Two cars went off in the al-Wihda street while the third one exploded near the al-Amin hotel in the central part of Qamishli city in the northeastern province of Hasakah, said SANA. (Syria-Explosion)

RAMALLAH -- At least one Palestinian was killed on Monday and dozens injured during clashes between Palestinian demonstrators and Israeli soldiers in southern West Bank, medics said.

The Palestinian Authority Health Ministry said in a short text message that a Palestinian young man was shot dead by Israeli soldiers' gunfire at al-Aroob refugee camp. (Israel-Palestinian)

ANKARA -- Turkey has started to send captured foreign Islamic State (IS) members back to their original countries as of Monday, a Turkish official said.
