SHANGHAI, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed lower Tuesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for December delivery dropped 2.4 yuan (about 34 U.S. cents) to close at 328.3 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 409,148 lots, with a turnover of about 135.4 billion yuan.
