BEIJING, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- A China-foreign co-produced documentary marking the 70th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China (PRC) will be aired on China Central Television and National Geographic Channel starting Wednesday.

The documentary, jointly produced by institutions and companies from China, the United States and Britain, highlights the achievements that China has made during the past seven decades, and individual stories of Chinese people.

Zhang Yanbin, an official with the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, encouraged more cooperation among domestic and foreign media as well as film enterprises to improve mutual understanding.

The documentary will also be released on domestic new-media platforms including Bilibili and Kuaishou. Enditem
