SHANGHAI, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures closed higher Wednesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
The most active gold contract for December delivery was up 2.25 yuan (about 32 U.S. cents) to close at 331.85 yuan a gram.
The total trading volume for seven listed gold futures contracts on the exchange was 395,550 lots, with a turnover of about 131 billion yuan.
