GUANGZHOU, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- The following are shows and exhibitions available in Guangzhou in the coming week:

The 2nd National Street Dance Gala

Date: Nov. 18 - 19

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Venue: Opera Hall, Guangzhou Opera House

Introduction:

This gala brings together outstanding street dance groups from all over China. There will be two performances, the adult's special on 18th and the children's special on 19th. Each performance will have 15 dance works with the characteristics of China. There will also be performances brought by famous street dancers.

Valery Gergiev & Mariinsky Orchestra Guangzhou Concert

Date: Nov. 20

Time: 8 p.m.

Venue: Xinghai Concert Hall

Introduction:

As a top orchestra with a history of nearly 200 years, the Mariinsky Orchestra has always played a key role in the development of Russian classical music. On Nov. 20, the "Conductor Tsar" Valery Gergiev will lead the orchestra to Guangzhou, and bring an unforgettable night for music fans.

2019 Guangzhou Jazz Festival: GBA Jazz Marathon

Date: Nov. 23

Time: 5:00 p.m.

Venue: Xinghai Concert Hall

Introduction:

2019 Guangzhou Jazz Festival will bring together five jazz bands from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao, with 20 jazz musicians joining the jazz marathon. It will last for nearly five hours, and the band and musicians will perform in turn, presenting a variety of jazz styles, including classic, original, modern and so on.

Liao Changyong and the Super Vocal Boys: I Love You, China

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Venue: Opera Hall, Guangzhou Opera House

Introduction:

The TV program "Super Vocal" appeals to young Chinese audiences to elegant music with its crossover performances. The "I Love You, China" concert will be led by Liao Changyong, the program producer, Cai Chengyu, Dai Chen, Yuan Guangquan and other members of the group.
