Senior CPC official meets overseas Chinese entrepreneurs

BEIJING, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Wang Huning Monday met with representatives to the fifth general congress of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs (CFOCE) in Beijing.

Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, joined the participants for a group photo at the Great Hall of the People.

At the congress, representatives elected new leadership and adopted resolutions concerning a work report of the CFOCE's fourth board of directors and the chamber of commerce charter.

The CFOCE, founded in 2003, is a non-profit national organization composed of well-known overseas Chinese entrepreneurs who invest and start businesses in China. Enditem
