Film adaption of French classic novel "Sans Famille" to hit Chinese theaters

BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- "Remi, Nobody's Boy," a film adaption of French writer Hector Malot's classic 1878 novel "Sans Famille," is set to hit big screens in China on Friday, Nov. 22, according to the China Film Distribution and Exhibition Association.

Titled "Remi sans famille" in French, the 2018 film tells of the adventures of young orphan Remi and a traveling showman as they journey through 19th century France.

Directed by Antoine Blossier and starring Maleaume Paquin and Daniel Auteuil, the film was screened at the Shanghai International Film Festival in June 2019.

"Remi, Nobody's Boy" started its worldwide release in December 2018. Enditem
