BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- The following is a list of major shows, concerts, exhibitions and events in China for Friday:

-- Play "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Beijing

Set in Athens, the romantic comedy by William Shakespeare portrays the events surrounding the marriage of Theseus, the Duke of Athens, to Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, including the adventures of four Athenian lovers in a forest and their interactions with the fairies who inhabit it.

The production by the NCPA premiered in 2016 to pay tribute to the literary giant as the world commemorated the 400th anniversary of his death.

-- Concert by Warsaw Boys' Choir

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Shanghai

Warsaw Boys' Choir is a Grammy Award-winning ensemble established in 1990. Having performed in Poland and abroad with top conductors, the choir's repertoire ranges from the Middle Age to contemporary.

The choir will present Chinese audiences musical pieces of various genres, covering opera, musical, rock and Chinese folk music.

-- Dance "Tiger & Tiger Tale"

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: Shanghai Grand Theater, Shanghai

As part of Shanghai Grand Theater's International Theater Season, "Tiger & Tiger Tale" is a stunning contemporary dance show presented by the Glasgow-based Barrowland Ballet, one of Scotland's most successful contemporary dance companies.

The story takes place in a family where the members no longer love each other, and unfolds as a tiger enters. The tiger brings vitality back to the members and eventually gets them reconnected. Enditem
