BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- "Knives Out," an American crime drama starring "James Bond" actor Daniel Craig and "Captain America" actor Chris Evans, hit the Chinese mainland big screens Friday.
The film follows an investigation into the death of a patriarch of an eccentric family.
The movie had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and was put on general release in the United States on Nov. 27.
With a current score of 8.5 out of 10 points on Chinese film rating site Douban, the film has grossed over 4 million yuan (about 568,700 U.S. dollars) of opening day presales on the mainland. Enditem
