Shandong smashes Shanghai 119-85 in CBA

JINAN, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Lester Hudson had a game-high 34 points, 12 assists, helping Shandong smash the visiting side Shanghai 119-85 to end a two-game losing streak here on Saturday in the 12th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league.

The two sides shared the same number of wins in the previous 46 encounters, as the hosts had 15 wins on the home court.

With two consecutive losses before this game, Shandong certainly looked for a win. They opened the game in a vigorous way and led by 36-15 with six three-pointers.

Hudson and Li Jingyu contributed 27 points to the 55-41 lead by the first half for Shandong.

The host expanded the lead to 27 points before the last quarter, and never looked back.
