GUANGZHOU, China, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Jeremy Lin scored his CBA career-high 36 points as Beijing Ducks eased past Guangzhou Long Lions 109-86 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Tuesday.
Lin scored a game-high 36 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out six assists for Beijing. Andrew Nicholson had 25 points while Keifer Sykes added 20 for Guangzhou.
After the tip-off, Lin was on fire and he made his first four attempts, gifting Beijing a 27-21 lead into the second quarter.
Beijing then launched a 25-2 run and increased their lead to 59-30 before half-time.
After the break, Nicholson dropped two 3-pointers to inspire Guangzhou an 8-0 spurt. But Beijing held a 20-plus advantage well and led 84-58 into the last quarter.
Guangzhou fought back hard at the beginning of the fourth quarter, only to see Lin hit two consecutive jump shots to clinch the victory for Beijing. Enditem
